LEXINGTON, NC – After much anticipation, Ferris unveiled its newest species of mower. Called the Evolution, it is a new compact zero-turn (CZT) mower in a category all its own. Featuring Ferris’ exclusive, patented suspension technology, this mower places the operator in the most ideal ergonomic position for mowing.

“The evolution is going to take the Ferris line to a whole new level,” says Bill Shea, vice president of sales and marketing commercial products for the Briggs & Stratton Yard Power Products Group. “We invented and patented suspension technology, and now we’ve integrated that technology into our own compact zero-turn design to make this mower the ultimate in performance and ergonomics.”

- Deck features overlap welded corners, double thick top and double reinforced side skirts

- 8-mph ground speed; mows up to 2.9 acres per hour

Also at the Lexington media event, Snapper Pro unveiled the S800x, a rugged and robust outfront zero-turn. Featuring a 28-hp Kawasaki engine and 61” cutting width, its designed to meet the needs of operators who are looking for a versatile mower that can be used in conjunction with multiple attachments for increased productivity.

Available accessories include a snow blower, power broom and deluxe suspension seat. The S800x features a 10.1-mph ground speed for 5.1-acre-an-hour productivity, 12-gallon fuel capacity, tractor-style tires, foldable ROPS with retractable seatbelt, and a two-year commercial warranty.
